Valentines Day 2-28

BJ and I celebrate Valentines Day a little bit late this year....that's okay, it was a great day! I had a semi-busy Saturday. I met a friend for lunch, had an eye appointment and then BJ surprised me and said we would go shopping for my Valentine's Day present and go out to eat. The first store we went in, the first shoe I picked up, I thought was adorable! They even had them in my size! The heel wasn't quite as tall as I planned, but they were too cute! BJ has been wanting to eat at Macaroni Grill, so we ate there for a special treat (since I generally don't eat out, because of outrageous calorie intake). We had a delicious meal and I thought they were going to have to roll me out the front door! I was so full when I left! I had a great night with my loving handsome husband!

My sister and nephews visit

I really enjoyed seeing my sister and nephews! Josiah was so much fun to play with! We had fun building a bus, chair, and random things with waffle blocks (a set of blocks my sister and I had as kids). Of course we played dirt bikes in his moon sand and I got to watch him ride a bicycle with no motor! I enjoyed my holding my nephew and seeing how big he has gotten in the last couple weeks! It was really nice seeing my sister again and watch her take pictures on her "mini photo shoot" her work is amazing! As usual we had many laughs and a lot of fun. I was so excited to show off my beautiful kitchen and cook in it for everyone who came over for a wonderful evening. I'm so glad they were able to come to Texas for a visit!

A nice surprise!

I just found out that I have company coming!!! 2 nieces, 2 nephews and my sister!!!! I'm really excited that they are all coming to visit!!!!!

Confusing hu?! Great news!!!! Karissa is feeling better and so now they are on the road headed my way!

Time to get serious!

Tonight was full of laughs, the guys decided to get serious....about the xbox! So, I saw BJ move the tv out from against the wall and heard Joe, "Can we hook up the BIG speakers? Please? Please? It'll be so cool!" It cracked me up, just like a little kid! I think he was part teasing, but when you get two serious xboxers together, weird stuff happens and you get sound meant for a stadium of people in your very own living room!

The kitchen

Yesterday, BJ got the stove, sink, microwave, and dishwasher all hooked up!!! I was able to cook for the first time in 3 months in the kitchen! I was so thrilled! I didn't even mind making brownies at 11:30 at night! Today, I have been making up for lost time with the dishwasher, I'm FINALLY down to the last load of dusty dishes. I really have enjoyed being in the kitchen!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

It turned out so great! It amazes me at how awesome it is! I never thought our little kitchen could be transformed into something so fantastic!

Counter tops- Today!

I am excited, to finally say, that in a couple hours our counter tops will be here and be installed! BJ and Joe hung up the microwave last night and moved the stove in! It's looking more and more like a kitchen!

Kitchen update

Well, the guys were working hard again! It sure is starting to come together! Our counter top should be here soon! I'm ready to take pictures that don't have tools and clutter everywhere!!!

Valentines Day

Well, for Valentines I bought BJ a new game for his little addiction....the xbox!

Crazy day....Packing!

After much dilemma and figuring if the trip was going to work out in the end...I am finally packing and VERY EXCITED to leave!!! I can't wait to get my hands on Jeremiah and play with Josiah and the girls! Of course, I'm always happy to see my sister! Only a few hours and we will be fighting over who gets to hold the baby who gets to build the tower with Josiah, play spotz maker with Karissa, and barbies with Makayla! Look out Grammy, I'm younger and meaner!!! :)

Counter top not too far away...

This morning the guy came and measured for our counter top! It takes about 2- 2 1/2 weeks to get it cut! We still have a lot of work to do between now and then, but it is finally starting to come together. I am so grateful for all the time BJ and our friends put into working on the kitchen.

EXCITED!!!!

Only a few days until I get to see my sister, nieces and nephews!!!!!! I am so glad that I am going to make another trip to see them!
