Almost finished priming...

I'm almost done priming!!! The ceiling still needs to be done, as well as the other wall that I didn't put up a picture of and the 3rd picture you can see that I ran out and could not finish the last little bit.

Sore shoulder

Well, last night my shoulder was pretty sore after tearing off about 1,000 inches of tape! I worked at cutting and taping from 10:30 am til 11 pm minus a break to go to Wal-Mart to get more tape! I sure am excited to see this project done, it is going to be sooooooo cute!!

Fun with mom & pay backs...

This afternoon I went over to my mom's we always have a good time when we are together. I have really enjoyed working on this project with her, it has been very time consuming with many tedious parts, but it is turning out absolutely adorable! I really enjoyed cooking together tonight as well. I made chicken fajitas (that my sister taught me to make when I went to visit her) and mom made delicious beans and rice.

Pay backs....the other day mom and I had gone to look for my school since I had never been there and we were getting hungry so she offered me some peanut butter crackers. I ate them (all of mine) and then she offered me her last two. I didn't take them, but she kept offering them to me. Two days later I read on the internet that those peanut butter crackers had been linked to salmonella poisoning and even death!! So, we have been joking that she was trying to poison me. Well, tonight I got my revenge...(it was completely an accident and I felt terrible) but I accidentally tripped her. Thank goodness she wasn't hurt and I didn't die!

Update on the Remodel

BJ told me tonight that he figures the kitchen will be ready to be painted on Sunday...we still haven't figured out colors yet, so that could set us back (knowing how indecisive we are). We definitely did not like having any brown in there, and I really like red, but think I am going to limit the amount that is painted red since it is expensive and hard to get it to take. I sure don't want to experiment with colors, one color and I want to be done with it! I am really excited that it is coming together. I can't believe how much I have missed cooking as well as having a clean well organized house! I am so thankful to BJ and his hard work as well as all the other guys who have come and helped!!!
